Azerbaijan increases passenger transportation via air transport by 39%

In January-September, 2011, 1.1 mln passengers were transported via air transport in Azerbaijan, up 39.1% from year earlier, said the State Statistical Committee.

According to Committee, cargo transportation rose 30.3%. 1.

96.9% of cargo transportation was realized by state sector, 3.1% - by private institutions.
