Small defense industry enterprises to be opened in Azerbaijan

Five small defense industry enterprises will be opened in Azerbaijan by the end of this year, a military source told Trend. According to source, the enterprises will produce defense and civil products. These enterprises are important in terms of ensuring jobs for citizens.

It was failure to get official information on this subject from the Ministry of Defense Industry. The Ministry of Defense Industry was established in 2005. Since then, the Ministry has established 30 new industrial sites.

After a major reconstruction in 2007 - 2011, over 15 enterprises of the Ministry have been put into operation.
