Azerbaijan attends ITU Telecom World event in Geneva

Today, ITU Telecom World 2011 event kicked of in Geneva. According to Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies, Azerbaijan is represented by delegation led by Minister of Communication and IT Ali Abbasov. The delegation includes employees of ministry and representatives of other state bodies and IT Companies.

At the same time, an exhibition devoted to telecommunication and information technologies will be held within the event. Azerbaijan is represented with National Pavilion. Generally, the pavilion will demonstrate the achievement during recently.

Note that, organizer of ITU Telecom World 2011 is World Telecommunication Union. The events gathering heads of states and governments, ministers, IT companies’ leaders, advisers and novators of high technologies spheres.

The 3-day program of event includes problems and development perspectives of world telecommunications, as well development of broadband communication and etc.
