Azerbaijan`s delegation attends ECOSAI meetings

Ankara recently hosted the 16th session of Board of the Economic Cooperation Organization`s Supreme Audit Institutions (ECOSAI) and the extraordinary session of its Assembly. Azerbaijan was represented at the events by a delegation headed by Adil Maharramov, deputy chairman of the Accounting Chamber of Azerbaijan.

The Board meeting discussed the issues of the ways for more effective functioning of the Organization as a regional audit structure. The discussions took into consideration the geographic, ethnic, religious and mental similarity of the ECOSAI member countries, as well as these countries` same problems in economic development and audit sphere. According to the participants, the ECOSAI member countries need intensive exchange of views.
