SOCAR: Pollution of the Caspian Sea has already been taken under control

State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) continues to work on prevention of pollution of the Caspian Sea.

President of SOCAR Rovnag Abdullayev told journalists that the cleaning of water thrown into the sea by oil refineries were carried out in accordance with the standards and currently, the pollution in the sea was being prevented: “In general, our main goal is to prevent pollution of the Caspian Sea. We are implementing environmental measure in this direction, environmental monitoring is carried out in the Caspian Sea. Pollution of the Caspian Sea has already been taken under control”.
