Central Bank of Azerbaijan increases currency reserves by 8.4 percent

Official currency reserves of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan increased by $535.7 million or 8.4 percent since early 2011, the bank said on Tuesday.

They hit $6.943.3 million in nine months. In 2010, the CBA's currency reserves hit $6.407.6 million.

According to the CBA forecasts, as of late 2011 currency reserves will exceed $8 billion.
