
Russian Deputy Prime Minister, co-chairman of the Azerbaijani-Russian intergovernmental commission on trade-economic cooperation Alexander Khloponin will pay a working visit to Azerbaijan on October 4, diplomatic sources told Trend on Monday.
Khloponin is also Russian Presidential Envoy in the North Caucasus Federal District.
The agreements are planned to be signed by the entities of the North Caucasus Federal District during the visit, Russian Trade Representative in Azerbaijan Yuri Shchedrin earlier told Trend.
Shchedrin said that the bilateral economic cooperation will be discussed at a meeting of two co-chairmen of the intergovernmental commission, Alexander Khloponin and Azerbaijani First Deputy Prime Minister Yaqub Eyyubov.
A draft intergovernmental agreement on "Promotion and Mutual Protection of Investments" is likely to be discussed, as there are still differences about this.
