Azerbaijan gets 20% rise in positive balance of foreign trade turnover

State Statistical Committee says that the volume of trade operations with 146 countries reached $ 23.661 bln during January-August, 2011, up 31.7% compared to a year ago.

$17.798 bln-goods were exported and $ 5.863 bln – imported to the country. The export operations rose 27.6%, import increased by 45.8% compared to a year ago.

The positive balance of foreign trade made $ 11.935 bln, up 20.2% compared to the same period of 2010.
