SOCAR completes gas pipeline repairs

SOCAR is completing repairs of the main gas pipeline Agdash-Mingachevir. The line had a gas leak early this morning, the company said.

SOCAR said that the leak was not caused by an explosion along the pipeline and that nobody was injured.

The Azerbaijani Interior Ministry said that gas leakage occurred at the distribution station at 2:00 a.m. The station is situated in the "Nadir baglari" area, in Mingachevir.

Several nearby homes were slightly damaged.
