EU: Trans Caspian gas pipeline lacks problems with realization

No legal and ecological problems recorded with the realization of the Trans Caspian gas pipeline, European Union Ambassador to Azerbaijan Roland Kobia said at the third Conference of Gas Infrastructure World Caspian in Baku on Wednesday.

Experts’ conclusions state that there are no ecological risks, Kobia said.

He said Azerbaijan makes independent decision, and Turkmenistan and the EU should also take such kind of position.

The Trans Caspian pipeline will be important for Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and EU, and the construction of this pipeline is the matter of only these three parts.
