Compensation to be given to family members of Azerbaijani pilots killed in Afghanistan

Issuance of compensation to family members of persons killed in plane crash in Afghanistan will be started in the coming days, Vice-President of AZAL Ilham Amirov said.

To him, the amount of compensation depending on the number of family members will be AZN 70-100 thousand: “The full amount of compensation will be allocated to the families of four victims. The remaining five people are officially announced missing, so we need some time for legal procedures to recognize their death”.

General Director of Silk Way Airlines Shamsaddin Mirsalamov said that the families of the missing crew members would receive compensation in the form of an advance.
