
The third Eurasian Forum of Accountants and Auditors on “international financial report standards in increase of transparency in economy and role and importance of application of international audit standards” has kicked off in Baku today.
The event, which runs until 17 September and organized by the Chamber of Auditors and the Union of Economists and the Association of Professional Financial Managers of Azerbaijan, is attended by representatives of agencies from several countries.
Lectures will be listened up at the forum. The issues on application and development of International Financial Report Standards and International Audit Standards will be discussed, round tables will be held at the forum.
Guests from the UK, France, Turkey, Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Czech Republic, Latvia, Slovakia, as well as representatives of the ministries of taxes, economic development, defense industry, the Central Bank, the State Securities Committee, SOCAR, the State Fund of Social Protection, Audit Chamber, the State Oil Fund, etc. are attending the event.
