"Volume of trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Belarus to reach $800 mln"

Azerbaijan and Belarus expect to increase trade turnover to $800 mln this year, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Belarus Isfandiyar Vahabzade, BELTA reports.

The ambassador spoke about the recent positive dynamics of trade and economic relations between the two countries. That is, for the first quarter of this year, bilateral trade increased 12 times and totaled $430 million, and up to trade for 6 months - $580 million.

To him, ratification of agreements on mutual protection of investments will help to create an available environment for investment: “In total, 60 interstate, intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements were signed between the two countries”.
