Differences explained in statistical data on trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Germany

Azerbaijani State Customs Committee Chairman Aydin Aliyev explained the reasons behind the differences in Azerbaijan and Germany’s statistic data on the trade turnover between the two countries.

"First, data from different countries do not always coincide. In addition, Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku has six airliners worth $231 million in total, which were imported from Germany, which still have not been passed customs clearance," Aliyev told journalists on Monday.

Earlier, German Ambassador to Azerbaijan Herbert Quelle said that the figures differ by $400 million.
