Export from Georgia to Azerbaijan increased 42% ($55,817mln) in Jan-Jul 2011 compared to the similar period last year which made up $188,708mln – 15.9% of Georgia's overall export, according to Georgian National Statistics service "Sakstat", News-Georgia reported.
The main part of the export involves cars. Thus, in the above mentioned period, the sum of exported cars hit $80,483mln which is $22.523mln more compared to that period in 2010.
The export of carbon steel rods upped almost twice. Thus, 33,663 thousand tons in the amount of $23.711 were exported to Azerbaijan in that period which is $12,156mln more compared to 2010.
