
The Kazakh city of Aktau will host a conference on international cooperation in the Caspian Sea basin.
Slated for September 15, the conference will bring together government officials from Azerbaijan, Russia, Iran, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan as well as experts, scholars, political analysts and businessmen.
The agenda will be topped by the issues of oil and gas potential of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, supply of hydrocarbon resources to the world markets, impact of domestic conflicts in the Arab world on oil prices, and legal status of the Caspian Sea.
