Azerbaijani seed-growing enterprise reduces authorized capital

The Azerbaijani seed-growing enterprise Azertokhum has announced the reduction of its authorized capital to 15.6 million manat.

At a meeting of the company’s founders, it was decided to reduce the authorized capital.
After the move, Adem Aliyev’s share amounted to 11.862 million manat, or 76.04 percent. Agro Azar’s share amounted to 3.738 million manat, or 23.96 percent.

Sseven hectares were allocated for the construction of Azertokhum, which was opened in October 2010. The company has 80-ton scales, 12 warehouses, a seed quality testing laboratory, a repair shop, a gas station and other facilities.

The company is engaged in seed production, preparation and processing. The official exchange rate is 0.7864 manat to $1 on Aug.18.
