Azerbaijan State Property Issues Committee becomes bureau member of UNECE

The State Property Issues Committee of the Azerbaijan Republic was elected a member of the bureau of Property Management Working Group of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) at its 7th session held in Geneva, Switzerland.

The bureau is represented by relevant bodies of Azerbaijan, Austria, the UK, Denmark, Georgia, the Netherlands, Italy, Croatia and Greece. According to the press service of Azerbaijan State Property Issues Committee, session agenda featured discussions on new bureau membership and property management and privatization policy.

Employee of Azerbaijan State Property Issues Committee made presentations on results of the Working Group`s meeting held in March, 2010 in Baku and Azerbaijan`s progress achieved in the field of property management and privatization policy.

Azerbaijan State Property Issues Committee`s membership to the international organization Eurogeographics and the International Property Association was also discussed in the session.
