Number of jobs created this year in Azerbaijan announced

About 80 percent of the new jobs were created in the regions of Azerbaijan in the first half of this year.

The State Statistics Committee said that 43 800 new jobs, including 32500 permanent jobs were created in the period from January to July, 2011.

Totally 956700 new jobs, including 687300 permanent jobs were created in the period from October, 1, 2003 to July 1, 2011.

78.8% of the jobs created as a result of the measures toward the development of the regions were opened in the regions, 87.4% - in the private sector, the Committee said.
