State duty for license on teleradio broadcasting reduced in Azerbaijan

State duty for license on teleradio broadcasting was reduced in Azerbaijan.

President has signed an order on amendments in a decree on “improvement of special license granting to several activity types”, dated to 2 September, 2002.

According to APA-ECONOMICS, the state duty was AZN 11,000. The sum was decreased for the activity types. So that, the state duty only for nationwide TV broadcasting remains at AZN 11,000. But, this sum for TV broadcasting in Baku city makes AZN 5,500, for regional TV broadcasting – AZN 3,000, for nationwide radio broadcasting - AZN 5,000, for radio broadcasting in Baku city - AZN 2,500, for regional radio broadcasting and additional information broadcasting – AZN 1,000, for cable network broadcasting with near 5,000 subscribers – AZN 3,000, for cable network broadcasting with over 5,000 subscribers – AZN 5,000 and for satellite broadcasting – AZN 1,000.
