Ministry of Economic Development: The price rise of vegetable oil in Azerbaijan is related to rise in price of raw material

No artificial price rise was observed in the sale of vegetable oil in Azerbaijan, said the Ministry of Economic Development.

According to Ministry, the price rise is observed in the sale of vegetable oils produced in the country. Azerbaijan’s State Service for Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economic Development has determined that this price rise was not artificial bur related to rise in the price of raw materials in the world market.

So that, the sunflower and corn oils in Azerbaijan are produced from the imported raw material. During the past 3 months, this raw material rose 25% at eth world market.
