Azersun builds cannery in Russia

Azerbaijan-based Azersun Holding built a cannery in Belarechensk region of Krasnodar province, Russia.

The total worth of cannery is RR 260 mln or $10 mln and the cannery is planned to complete in 2012, said the province investment department.

The production capacity is expected to be 50 mln jars per year. Besides, 250 permanent, 300-400 seasonal work places will be launched.

According to Azersun Holding, the company has launched tea factory last year, in this province. The capacity of the factory is 25 mln boxes per year.

Note that, the contract on realization of projects in Krasnodar province was signed by Governor of Krasnodar Alexander Tkachov and Azersun Holding’s president Abdolbori Goozal within the Sochi-2009 investment forum. According to document, RR150 mln is planned to invest in the province’s economy.
