SOCAR operates within platform construction in Guneshli field

The Heydar Aliyev Baku Deep Water Jacket Factory under SOCAR has completed construction of the bearing block No 2 within the construction of a gas-lift compressor station on the offshore oil and gas field "Guneshli", SOCAR said.

After the construction operations are completed, the block was transported to the sea to be installed in the Guneshli field on the depth of 90-92 meters, 50 meters of existing Guneshli-4 platform. A foot bridge will connect the platforms. A social infrastructure, including a living block, a dining-room, a reserve oil-rig and helipad will be common for both platforms in accordance with the project.
