Azerbaijani Transport Ministry, Czech Komercni banka sign loan agreement

The Azerbaijani Transport Ministry and the Czech "Komercni banka, as" have signed a loan agreement today within the construction project of two additional lanes and reconstruction of the 85 kilometer-Hajigabul-Kurdamir road, the ministry said.

The project costs $ 352 million, of which 15 percent fall to the Azerbaijani government. The credit resources will be allocated in three equal tranches.

The loan agreement was signed by Azerbaijani Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov, Finance Minister Samir Sharifov and Komercni banka vice-president.
