Ministry of Economic Development of Azerbaijan announced reception of proposals for funding of investment projects to produce high quality grains and seeds.

Reception of proposals carried out in order to accelerate the implementation of the approved by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on August 25, 2008 "State program of a reliable supply of the population in Azerbaijan foodstuffs in 2008-2015" as well as the creation of large enterprises for the production of grain and seeds, provision of seed-farm with high-quality seeds.

The press service of Ministry of Economic Development said that the works to be carried out within the framework of the investment project as follows:

-Establishment of large farms producing grain and seeds, or by voluntary associations of small farms to create larger enterprises

-Strengthening material-technical base seed-farms, buying high-yielding seed varieties (original, superelit, spruce, P1 and P2), as well as various agro-technical equipment, medicines, the creation of outmoded storage of grain and seeds

-Sustainable improvement of the system of scientific support seed-farm and seed part with government support and highly trained workers in this field courses for the development of best practices of developed countries

- Production within the investment project of high quality and high yielding seeds,

- Providing a supportive infrastructure of land for production of high quality and high-yield grains and seeds

-Providing households experienced specialists, relevant agricultural equipment that meets the agro-technical, environmental and other requirements

-Creation within the investment project of modern irrigation systems, works for Land Reclamation and Irrigation

Entrepreneurs their proposals for investment projects can present with authorized credit organizations, the National Endowment supported Enterprise Economic Development of Azerbaijan and Open Society "Azerbaijan Investment Campaign"

Submitted investment proposals will be considered in accordance with the laws of the National Fund for Entrepreneurship Support of Economic Development of Azerbaijan, "Azerbaijan Investment Campaign."

Financing of investment projects will be implemented by the National Foundation for Economic Development and Entrepreneurship Support of "Azerbaijan Investment campaign" by the state preferential loans.
