Azerbaijan increases gold and silver production

Azerbaijan has produced 765 kg of gold in January - May, 2011, up 0.4% from year earlier. State Statistical Committee says, at the same time, 684 kg of silver has been produced during the same period, up 49.7 from year ago.

As of June 1, 2011, the finished gold stocks made 64 kg, silver – 40 kg.

In general, 1.449 tons of precious metal ores and concentrates have been produced in January-May, 2011.
