Sale of Azerbaijan’s agricultural products increases sharply in Russian market

As a result of the ban on import of vegetables to Russia from European countries, sale of Azerbaijan’s agricultural products increased by 2-3 times, deputy minister of agriculture Behram Aliyev said.

To him, though formerly sale of Azerbaijan’s agricultural products in Russian market was 10-20%, at present, it reached 40-50%.

Aliyev said that Azerbaijan did not need import of fruits and vegetables from foreign countries: “Azerbaijan completely provides itself with fruits and vegetables”.
