SOCAR creates new nanosystems

For the first time in the world drilling practice, the specialists of SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) have created the "NanoMAY" system, SOCAR said on Thursday.

According to information, new systems were built on the base of motor diesel oil used on stationary offshore platforms, as well as on the base of "NanoNeft", "NanoBitum", "NanoYaq" (oil) and "NanoQudron" (tar).

These systems were used in the drilling of 20 wells in "Gum Adasi," "Gunashli", "Bibiheybat", "Balakhani", "Oil Rocks" and "Pirallahi" fields. Currently, drilling using nanotechnology continues successfully.
