Minister Abulfas Garayev: There will be 15-17% discounts for domestic tourism in Azerbaijan this year

Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism conducted talks with heads of different hotels, Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev said.

To him, as a result of those talks, there will be 15-17% discounts in gross domestic tourism this year: "Though the places are limited enough, finding of place became a problem for people, but we must control the prices. We expect that this year quality of services will be higher".

Garayev highly assessed the application of new preferential tariffs in domestic flights of AZAL. The minister thinks that this step is a decent contribution to "Tourism year" and development of domestic tourism: "We hope that this step will help to increase the number of domestic tourists. As to foreign visits, it is regulated in line with international transport rules".
