Azerbaijani population’s per head income increases by 15%

In January-April, 2011, the average salary of hired workers in Azerbaijan’s economy rose 11.4% to AZN 349.6.

The State Statistics Committee says the average monthly salary in mining sector, financial and insurance sector, profession, scientific and technical activity spheres, administrative and support services, information and communication, construction was higher than other spheres.

Per head income increased by 15% to AZN 1,241.8, in January-May.
