Azerbaijan extends exploration works in gas fields

Gasifying level has reached 95%, in Azerbaijan, SOCAR deputy vice-president Vitali Baylarbayov informed.

Speaking about Umid structure Baylarbayov noted that, second exploration well is planned to be drilled here. Thereafter, an exploration well will be drilled in Babek gas field.

SOCAR official said that, 50 mln tons of condensate reserves were discovered in Umid field, as a result of drilling of first exploration well. According to forecasts, the analogical reserves are expected to be discovered in the second well and Babek.
