IDC: Share of private import in computer technique market of Azerbaijan is high

According to International Data Corporation’s calculations, as at early 2011, the number of computers made 158,000, printers – 37,000. According to company, the computer market of the country increased by 11.4% last year.

51.6% of computers were stationary, 48.4 % - mobile computers (notebooks and netbooks).

Company says 33.2% of computer market belongs to HP Company. In notebooks sale, 52% belongs to HP, Acer and Toshiba brands.

According to IDC calculations, the growth in printers market made 1.8%, last year. Consequently, number of printers and xerox copiers reached 36,800. Main part of sale in this sphere belongs to households, state and corporative sectors. According to analytics’ researches, most of printers came from UAE.
