New investment strategy to be determined by SOFAZ by the end of year

In preparation for the new investment strategy, the State Oil Fund is working on a program to develop new investment vehicles, executive director of SOFAZ Shahmar Movsumov said.

To him, World Bank Treasury’s mission is expected to visit Baku in this regard. Draft strategy for future activity of SOFAZ will be made with their help.

Movsumov added that this issue would be resolved before the end of the year. Turning to the highlights of the new strategy, the head of SOFAZ noted that, in the context of income growth, fund strategy involves the placement of funds in the SOFAZ long-term and risky assets.
