Revenues and expenses of Azerbaijan’s state budget increased more than 9 times over the 8 past years

Over the past 8 years, revenues and expenses of Azerbaijan’s state budget has increased significantly, it has been noted in the report of Center for Strategic Studies under the President of Azerbaijan on social-economic development of Azerbaijan in 2003-2011.

According to the report, the average growth rate of income during the reporting period amounted to 40,4%, expenditures - 40.1%: Value for the state budget revenues to GDP in 2003 was 17.1%, expenditures - 17.3%, in 2010 - 27 4% and 28,3%. Compared with 2003, revenues increased by 9.3 times, the costs - in 9,5 times.

"All of this was for the welfare of the population and encourage the dynamic development of the economy", told the report.
