Domestic investing in Azerbaijan’s main capital rises 8 times in past 8 years

The investments in Azerbaijan’s main capital have increased during past 8 years. So that, the investments in main capital increased by 2.9 times, including domestic investment – by 7.7 times, in 2010, compared to 2003, Strategic Studies Center’s report on "Azerbaijan’s socio-economic development in 2003-2011" informed.

Report says the share of domestic investment in total investments rose from 24.8% to 75.7%, share of foreign investment dropped from 75.2% to 24.3%, during the same period: "The investments in main capital rose 2.6 times to AZN 9,905.7 mln, as well domestic investments – 8 times to AZN 7,499.2 mln, foreign investment dropped 15.5% to AN 2,406.5 mln, in 2010, while the investments directed to main capital made AZN 3,786.4 mln in 2003".
