State Labour Inspectorate: Every month, 300-400 enterprises insure its employees on new compulsory insurance type

Every month, 300-400 enterprises and organizations insure its employees on compulsory insurance from the situations of losing of labor ability at the result of industrial accidents and occupational diseases in Azerbaijan, deputy chief of State Labour Inspectorate of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population Maharram Maharov said.

To him, number of enterprises and organizations signing an agreement on this type of insurance increases incessantly: "On of the biggest construction companies of the country – Akkord Group of Companies will insure its employees on this insurance type in the coming days as well. At present, the company is preparing the list of workers. In general, State Labour Inspectorate continues activity in direction of enlightment of enterprise and organizations’ heads in this sphere, as well as propaganda and agitation of this insurance type".

Note that, more than 100,000 employees have already been insured on this type of insurance across the country.

Remind that, the law on on compulsory insurance from the situations of losing of labor ability at the result of industrial accidents and occupational diseases was passed on July 3, 2010.
