Unfit banknotes are withdrawn from circulation in Azerbaijan

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has sufficient cash for substitution of unfit banknotes in Azerbaijan, CBA first deputy chairman Alim Guliyev informed.

According to him, this process covering AZN 1 and 5 banknotes is permanently conducted and such banknotes are substituted. At present, unfit banknotes circulate out of the banking system and if they enter the banking system they are immediately substituted.
