Azerbaijan participates in international transport forum in Germany

International Transport Forum has kicked off in Leipzig (Germany). Azerbaijan is represented by the delegation led by Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov. Main topic of the event is "Transport for society".

The participants and ITF member states are discussing ways of solution to transport issues in accordance with demands and needs of demands of society. Moreover, the forum is expected to create new perspectives for development of transport sector correspondingly to current requirements of the world.

Within framework of the forum, Ziya Mammadov is planned to meet with vice minister of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs of South Korea Kim Hee-guk, Spain’s Minister of Transportation José Blanco López, Germany’s Transport Minister Peter Ramsauer, Turkish Minister of Transport & Communication, Mehmet Habib Soluk and UAE Minister of Economy Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri.
