Turkish investors interested in Azerbaijan processing industry

Turkish businessmen intend to invest in Azerbaijan’s plastic and textile sector, Bag Solution Worldwide (BSW) Austria-Germany Company’s director on consultant services Turan Ilhan said.

According to him, a group of Turkish businessmen interest in Azerbaijan’s plastic and textile sector and intend to invest in this sphere. These businessmen intend to install equipments producing bags for all products (sugar, fertilizer, flour and etc.) in Azerbaijan with their partners.

Ilhan noted that, the company has received such appeals and it continues relevant works on this direction. They also think about the development of Azerbaijan’s domestic market and export of these products to Russia, Georgia and other countries.

He noted that, only one company – Ram Limited Company uses the equipment of BSW Austria-Germany producing bags. This company has also organized the export of the products. This equipment is estimated at 6.5 mln Euros. The installation produces 8 bags in a minute, 60 mln in a year.
