Azerbaijan registers national satellite communication operator's ordinary uncertified shares

The Azerbaijani State Securities Committee registered the ordinary uncertified shares of additional issue of Azerbaijani "Azerkosmos" company totaling $ 40 million manat by private placement, the committee said.

The emission consists of 2 million shares at par value of each - 20 manat.

"Azerkosmos" was established under the Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry. The main goal is to conduct operations on launching the Azerbaijani satellite into the orbit, its management and operation, as well as to provide satellite communication services (Internet service, television and radio broadcasting, photography, navigation services etc.).
