Azerbaijan studies international monitoring experience

A workshop on improving monitoring has been held in Azerbaijan today.

It was organized by the Economic Development Ministry, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs and the EU twinning project to support the country's parliament.

The experience of such countries as Great Britain, Canada, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Ukraine was discussed within the workshop.

Azerbaijani Deputy Economic Development Minister Niyazi Safarov said the country has been recently operating to eliminate unwarranted inspections in entrepreneurship.

The workshop was conducted to examine the best practice in monitoring and its application in Azerbaijan.
