
On June 6, an agreement on Nabucco gas pipeline will be signed in Turkey, said the Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz, CNN-Turk TV Channel reports.
He noted that, the contract would be signed by OMV (Austria), BOTAS (Turkey), Bulgargaz (Bulgaria), Transgaz (Romania), Mol Natural Gas (Hungary) and RWE (Germany) companies.
According to him, there is not any obstacle to sign the contract: "This contract has a great importance".
T. Yildiz noted that, the project sponsors will try to get a concrete response from Azerbaijan about attendance the project: "If Azerbaijan’s response will be negative, we’ll contact with Turkmenistan, Iraq and Iran. This project has a great importance for both of us and Europe. That’s why we can not lose time and we’ll use all of the variants".
