SOCAR attends international oil-gas exhibition in Tashkent

Uzbekistan’s oil and gas – OGU 2011 international exhibition is being held in Tashkent.

According to the Uzbek government’s website, SOCAR is attending the event with its own stand for the first time.

According to Deputy Head of SOCAR administrative department Rufat Zamanov, Azerbaijani government pays special attention to extension of relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan: "Agreements of our heads of states open wide perspectives for us. SOCAR has production chair from geological exploration works to oil-gas export. We intend to establish close relations and mutual effective cooperation with our Uzbek counterparts".

Note that, 200+ companies from 26 countries of the world attend the event. The event was organized by Ozbekneftgaz National Holding Company, Uzbek Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade, Chamber of Trade-Industry and Tashkent city Department.
