First deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Andrey Klyuev took a stance on the government’s intention on significant growth of relations with country’s main trade partners and special attention given to economic aspects of foreign policy.
The minister noted that Ukraine-Azerbaijan cooperation had big perspectives.
"Along with the already declared projects, there are a lot of perspectives too. For example, construction of joint enterprises on agro-processing in Azerbaijan. Moreover, Baku is interested in development of its own energy facilities and in this context, we can export our turbines to Azerbaijan. That is why, I think that we can increase trade turnover this year too", he said.
He reminded that, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Ukraine rose 84% in 2010.
