Azerbaijan, Israel discuss prospects for cooperation in ICT

An Israeli delegation headed by Communications Ministry Director-General Eden Bar-Tal has arrived in Baku, the Azerbaijani Communications and IT ministry told Trend.

The Israeli delegation pays two-day official visit upon the Azerbaijani ministry’s invitation.
At present, Bar-Tal holds meeting with the Deputy Communications and IT Minister Iltimas Mammadov.

The parties discussed prospects of the Azerbaijani-Israeli cooperation in the ICT field, whose active participants are to become both private and public entities. The sides also noted the prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation in high technology sectors of the economy.

The talks involve representatives of some 20 business structures of Azerbaijan and Israel that interested in developing relations in the ICT field.
