Azerbaijan joins OSCE conference on cyber security

Cyber security has emerged as an increasing concern to people worldwide, reflecting the changing security environment and the appearance of new risks and challenges. To that end, Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) organized a two-day international conference titled "A comprehensive approach to cyber security: Exploring the future OSCE role" in Vienna on May 9-10.

The conference looked at cyber security threats such as those facing critical infrastructure, cybercrime and terrorist use of the Internet. Azeri delegation attended the event. The representative of the Ministry of National Security of Azerbaijan briefed the participants on fight against cybercrime in Azerbaijan.

The delegate emphasized the importance of international cooperation in this sphere. The conference highlighted cyber threats and cybercrime control and the role of the OSCE in the field of cyber security.
