Azerbaijani Financial Monitoring Service receives over 19,000 data in April

The Financial Monitoring Service of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) received 2,084 data on suspicious transactions and 17,669 - on current operations in April, the service said. In total, the service received 19,753 data, which is more by 8.8 percent compared to March.

Since early 2011 the service has received 69,526 data, 7,672 (11 percent) of which account for suspicious transactions and 61,854 - current operations (89 percent).

In January, the service received 2,006 data on suspicious transactions and 13,375 current transactions. The figure was 1,717 and 14,507, respectively, in February. The service received 1,868 data on suspicious transactions and 16,291 current operations in March.
