SOCAR to build oil refinery in Turkey

"The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) is considered to be one of the largest oil companies in the world operating in many countries", President of SOCAR Rovnag Abdullayev told journalists.

According to him, Turkey is the most important country where SOCAR implements its major investment projects.

"We are going to lay foundation stone for an oil refinery in Turkey soon. The project costs 4 billion USD. The launching is scheduled for 2014", Abdullayev said.
