Azeri Deputy Minister of Communication and Information Technologies to attend World Information and Communications Summit

Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Communication and Information Technologies Elmir Valizade will participate in the 7th World Information and Communications Summit (WICS) staring in Seoul, South Korea on May 11.

The summit, to take place at the ministerial and deputy ministers, will enable participants to discuss their views or policies for the future of telecommunications and new technologies. Countries from all over the world will take advantage of this opportunity to share their views on the theme "Smart Society and Mobile Revolution" and together discover new opportunities in today's rapidly evolving digital environment.

The summit participants will become familiar with the exposition of World IT Show 2011 - the largest exhibition of information technologies in South Korea. The topics of this year's exhibition include wireless communications, broadband networks, network technologies, local and corporate networks, LAN / WAN and wireless LAN technologies.
