SOCAR lifts sunken and half-sunken vessels from Caspian Sea's bottom

The Caspian Sea Oil Fleet of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) is working to lift remains of sunken vessels "Moskva" and "Baba-zade" from the bottom of the Caspian Sea, SOCAR Ecology Department said on Wednesday.

The vessels, which are in the northern waters of the Boyuk Zira (Nargin) Island, are lifted out piecemeal in parts, which are later delivered to the land.

Also, in the first quarter the fleet using the "Bulvar-1" vessel continued work to gather crude emulsion and solid waste in the waters of the Baku bay, located in the Seaside Boulevard and Northern Chilov.
